The mission of Ophelia Inlet Products is to provide wholesome and delicious value-added seafood products to consumers, primarily smoked fish and smoked fish dip, but also fish roe. Additionally, our mission extends to support our local hard working commercial fishermen, who are wonderful folks and have been fishermen here for many generations dating back to the 1700’s. If we didn’t catch it locally here in eastern Carteret County, North Carolina (which isn’t likely), rest assured we will tell you where the seafood was caught!

The next chance to say “Hello” at our booth and buy Smoked Fish (and Smoked Fish Dip) will be at the Olde Beaufort Farmers’ Market April 2026 in Beaufort on the Courthouse parking lot from 9 AM until 1 PM!

We will be participating in the “Pickup” market on Saturday mornings this winter in the Carteret County Courthouse parking lot. No tent, no booth, but the same fresh Smoked Fish and Smoked Fish Dip! Ideally Contact Us before Wednesday so we’ll know what to prepare on Wednesday through Friday for you.

At the Olde Beaufort Farmers’ Market, we sell fresh Smoked Fish, Smoked Fish Dip, and Dried Mullet Roe products. After the Market, we sometimes have fresh product still available that we can sell/ship.

Please note we also always have Smoked, Vacuum Packed, Frozen Fish in stock(except now, because the December Holiday Market was a TOTAL sellout for us). 2024:

It was Seafood Festival the first weekend in October! We helped represent Carteret Catch at Jack’s on the Morehead City waterfront, serving free samples of Smoked Fish Dip (made with Jumping Mullets caught in the pristine water on the sandy bottom of Core Sound) on Saturday, Oct 05, 2024.

Later, back in Beaufort, we prepared some of our Smoked Fish Dip on 19 Dec 2024 and 17 Jan 2025, and it was available for pickup the following Saturdays at noon in the Carteret County courthouse parking lot. Please call/text Craig at 252-714-6858 to reserve Smoked Fish Dip.
